Sometimes as a marketer you test an idea to see how it works out. Vancouver BC seems to be the testing ground of the new Starbucks recycling bin. This isn’t the best photo I’ve ever taken, but it gives you a strong sense of how the chain is testing its new support of greener consumer behaviour (spelled Canadian, please note).
I love this move by Starbucks. It on so many levels is right in line with their branding, and communicates so much to all consumers visiting the chain about where Starbucks stands on environmental issues.
It will be interesting to see the evolution of this test – and if you see it other places comment! would love to know where its spreading to!
