Leadership

Leadership in “ann land” is the act of leading oneself, or others, with a sense of purpose, respect for all participating, and with the intent to accomplish great things along the way.

Let’s take a moment on that.

Leadership can be personal leadership.  It gets more press if its about a lot of people, but sometimes the hardest leadership is of our own actions and words.

Leadership is about purpose.  There needs to be a goal, a place to go, to need to lead.  Anyone can wander, and it does not require much thought.

Leadership demands respect.  It means respect for self, your team, and those your team interacts with – even if those you interact with are the opponent.

Leadership is about doing great things.  Great things in the mind of you and the followers.  Great doesn’t mean “huge gargantuan and massive”.  Great means that the world is a better place for having done the work.
